Sheet Vinyl

  • Sheet vinyl is most often found in rooms with water sources, such as kitchens and bathrooms, because of their resistance to moisture.
  • A resilient, very easy to clean option. Moving heavy objects, including appliances, across the floor can scrape or ding its surface.
  • Most floors have a urethane no-wax wear layer. That means no waxing, no buffing and no polishing is required to keep your beautiful floor looking "like new".
    • Never use detergents, abrasive cleaners or "mop and shine" products. They leave a dull film and could turn your floor yellow.
    • Never use a beater bar when vacuuming because it can visibly damage the floor surface.
    • Always use pads on legs of furniture such as chairs, tables, etc.
    • Always wipe up spills as soon as possible and clean with your flooring manufacturer's recommended cleaners.

Ceramic Tile

  • Tiles are hard and durable. According to the World Floor Covering Association, ceramic tile will "outlast nearly any other floor covering product created for the same application". Ceramic tile is usually seen in kitchens and bathrooms, and sometimes in the foyer. However, their brittle consistency means they can break if a hard object is dropped on them.
  • Many styles and colors available, from bright to neutral, or Mediterranean to country.

Laminate

  • Resilient, very easy to clean. Will not burn, spot or tear. Replacing vinyl sheet goods not wood. Not a good choice for bathrooms.
  • Wood, Ceramic and Stone styles of finish conveys a warm, sophisticated old world style, sometimes rustic or modern depending on the type.

Few flooring products can equal all that carpet offers. When you compare its beauty, comfort, long-term performance, insulation value, acoustical properties and inherent safety for the price, it's easy to see: carpet is a great value in flooring.
